"Jesus what's the answer to number 3"

The plane ride was fourteen hours long so that should have been long enough to at least have a conversation with the person sitting next to me right?  Well, there was plenty of time, but neither of us made the attempt.  We got off of our plane not even knowing each other’s name let alone other pertinent information.
Having the energy and drive to talk to a complete stranger is one thing, but how many humans never take time to have a conversation with God?  He is available to everyone and he desires to communicate with us, but how many people don’t know how to engage him in dialogue?  How many really don’t know how to talk to Him?
The God of the Bible holds the key to uncovering your ultimate purpose in life, so why not have a conversation.  He is only a prayer away and if you take the time to talk to Him, you will discover not only that He is the best friend that you will ever have, but He is also the one with all of the answers.

"God And Well...Everything"

He has all of the answers.  He knows everything. He knows every thought of every person, at every moment of every day. He knows you and He knows me…and yet the age-old phrase still stands true, “the one who knows you the best, loves you the most.” Despite all of your shortcomings, in spite of all of your mistakes, God loves you with a deep love that no one can adequately describe.  He holds the Universe in His hands, and yet He is personally interested in your life.  He is God and you are always on His mind.

"Jesus Me And The Pringles"

I remember the first time that I ever picked up a can of Pringles.  I was intrigued by the shape, and I was fascinated by the uniformity.  Every chip was the same.  There were no imperfections, and there was nothing to make them unique.  They looked alike, tasted the same, and they all fit perfectly into that little container. Although this works fine for chips, it does not work well for people. We are all uniquely different and strangely diverse.  Our distinctive histories, creative passions, odd outlooks, and dissimilar characteristics make us all surprisingly peculiar, yet remarkably spectacular.  We are not all cut from one mold and we do not fit neatly into the same package.  And that is OK, because that is how God made us.  However, there are some that feel that they have to conform to the image of another in order for God to love them.  But, that is not true. God wants you to know that He loves you no matter how different you are, but only with His help can you uncover the true treasure that dwells deep inside of you, and only through a sincere and deep relationship with Him will you become the best that you can be.

"Jesus Breaking In"

When someone breaks into our car or our home and steals from us we feel all kinds of emotion. Anger, fear, a need to get even with the thief, or just a sick feeling in the pit of our stomach over what they took and what we lost. We take all kinds of precautions to prevent a break ins. Locks on our doors, alarms on our cars, secure neighborhoods and garages. We do this because we can see the physical loss caused by a break in, yet we fail to protect ourselves from the spiritual and emotional break-ins that happen to us everyday.  Every day our society nibbles away as our esteem trying to convince us that there is something wrong with us, that no one loves us, or that we have no value.  Like taking a little poison every day, we slowly die as the thief sneaks in silently convincing us that it isn’t worth fighting anymore.  Although the bible teaches us that with Christ in our lives we will spend eternity in heaven, it also teaches us that our relationship with Jesus is supposed to affect us even while we are on earth. Jesus came to bring us life; abundant life.  Are you tired of break-ins?  Then it is time to let Jesus the Security Master give you life to the full.  He is waiting to embrace you and convince you of His love.

" With God As The Cure"

Sometimes medicine doesn’t cure sickness, it just covers up the symptoms.  It might control the fever, reduce the nausea, or manage the pain, but unless something else happens, the real problem can remain.  That is not only true in medicine, but in the condition of many humans as well.
Some look to substances, relationships, or destructive behaviors as medicine.  They cover up the pain and temporarily distract from the confusion that exists, but those are only temporary fixes.  The only thing that can truly change the condition of a life…that can heal the heart and satisfy the soul is Jesus Christ.
If you have discovered that your tactics to deal with life mask the problem, but don’t cure it, won’t you give Jesus a try?  He is waiting right next to you.  He wants to turn misery into triumph and sadness into joy.
